Shorts - Festival Fabric

I have a total of 4 different shorts. I bought my first one in 2018 and keep wanting to buy more. I love them so much I gifted 3 of my friends a pair. I want everyone to experience the joy and comfort of having these shorts. They are made with love and are part of the slow fashion we long for. Very well made, all handmade, and the best part of everything is they are zero-waste and a family run business. Beautiful in every single way.

I wandered into the Color of Heat tent at AthFest completely at random, having never heard of the brand and I didn’t own any “festival wear” which was the vibe I got from their selections. I was immediately drawn to the prints and patterns of the shorts that they had, and appreciated the unisex design…but I did have a bit of sticker shock when I saw the prices. After talking with Kat about the manufacturing process and the mission of sustainability, it all made sense, and I decided to purchase a pair in the Outer Banks pattern. Well, over a week later, I am finding it very hard to take them off and wear anything else!! I. AM. OBSESSED!!! They are so comfy and very well-made. I washed them for the first time recently and there was no shrink, no fading…these are dreamy shorts. I now want some in like every color and cut, and several other items also (I require one of those cute af fanny packs like STAT). Also, they’re local??!?!? I’m dying. These shorts have become my summer uniform, and I will wear them everywhere. Thanks Kat, for helping me select and purchase them, and for sharing a bit of your story with me. Outside of work I have worn shorts the majority of time over many years. I have purchased well over 100 pairs of shorts from countless merchants. These COH shorts are by far the most comfortable ones I've ever worn. It is hard to tell you even have them on as they are gossamer-like. Color choices/patterns are ample. Materials (cotton and bamboo) are high quality and workmanship is top notch. The HUGE pockets are unparalleled and very functional/appreciated. The elastic waistband is another welcomed and functional touch. I was so impressed/happy upon receiving my first pair that I ordered another pair that same day. The COH story, mission statement, sustainability practices, and overall ethos cannot be argued, is most admirable, and should resonate with anyone. I will usher in the shorts-wearing weather here in Ohio this year right now; calendar be damned!
